We want to confirm with you that, if the voltage on A and B is about 18V, how long can SN65HVD888 survive in this case?

Hi Shaofeng,

The +/-18V rating is the DC fault level - so assuming no other limiting value is violated the fault can last indefinitely. That being said the device may not work as expected outside of recommended operating conditions - so we don't guarantee you will be able to communicate properly at +/-18V level inputs just that it won't break the device.
