Hi Brian,

I am trying to open the EVM file on OrCAD viewer but it is saying that it is having errors and is incorrect, as well as saying that I need to use DB Doctor. Could you possibly send me a new file?

Hi Tejas:

The EVM file was developed by Cadence allegro software. What other software you have?

Did you find out what PCB software you are using? Normally people use Allegro or Altium.

Hi Brian I tried using Allegro and Altium but neither were able to open the file for some reason.

What Allegro version you have? This PCB file was designed with Allegro 16.5.
