TS3DV642-Q1: TS3DV642-Q1: HDMI and DVI on A and B

Hi,

Do you think it would be ok to have, with either an HDMI or DVI connector on the one side an HDMI and a DVI connector on channels A and B of the other side ? Apart from properly routing the different channels on both connectors would I then to have a different hot plug detect configuration for both HDMI and DVI connectors if connecting them to screens directly ?

Hi Mr Liu,

To clarify my question:

Considering that both DVI and HDMI use TDMS signals it does not make a difference if we connect an HDMI or DVI connectors on either sides as long as we properly route the corresponding differential pairs to the connectors right ?

Correct, you can place the DVI or HDMI connector on either side of the TS3DV642-Q1 MUX.
