We want to use TDP1204 as the DP++ to HDMI1.4 level shifter. The source side DP++ from COMe will not be more than 4-5'' routing length on the board. We don't want software to be involved in the configuration for this chip. Could you please advise what should be default pin strap we should use for this application? Or, which default settings need to be changed for our application case?

Here is an example of a sample schematic using pin-strap mode.
For HDMI 1.4 the pin config settings should be:
CTLEMAP_SEL = 0
LINEAR_EN = 0
EQ1 = 0, tune if needed using table 8.6
MODE = have a look at section 8.3.1 for your application
CFG0 = 0
CFG1 = check table 8.19
AC_EN = 0
TXPRE = start with 0 but tune using table 8.15
EQ0 = 0, tune if needed using table 8.6
TXSWNG = F
