Can DS90UB947-Q1 and DS90UB948-Q1 transmit UART signals?

Can DS90UB947-Q1 and DS90UB948-Q1 transmit other GPIO or I2C signals that are not intended for the panel?

    Hi Brown,

    The UB947 and UB948 can transmit UART signals over the GPIO pins. Other arbitrary signals can be transmitted over the GPIO, specifically GPIO[3:0] and D_GPIO[3:0], as long as the signals meet the frequency limit.

    I2C signals can be transmitted using the I2C bus on the UB947 and the UB948. The signals can be for I2C devices attached to the SER or DES.
