Hi Team,
I have a question about clock supply to MAC and PHY.
Is it no problem to connect Y1-pin of CDCE925PWR to MAC and Y2-pin to PHY(DP83825I)?
Please see the attached.

Hi Atsuhshi-san,
May I ask what mode is DP83825PHY operate in? RMII master or RMII slave?
If DP83825PHY is operate in RMII slave mode and MAC is good to receive 50MHz, then the diagram you provided should be fine.

Hi Hillman-san,
Thank you for your reply.
The customer uses at RMII Slave mode.
I have additional question.
The customer are branching off a single clock output pin to supply the the PHY and the MAC.
Is this not recommended?
Hi Atsushi,
We recommend customer to use the clock signal generate by the MAC with 50MHz.
MAC and PHY share the same 50MHz reference clock signal form Oscillator. it should also be fine.
