DS160PR421: the re-driver EQ setting issue

Part Number: DS160PR421
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUXHS4412, , DS160PR412

Hi TI Team,

We are meeting SSD detection issue with a M.2 NVMe SSD when we are using TI MUX  (TMUXHS4412) .

We have tried to change from MUX to re-driver MUX (DS160PR421 / DS160PR412 ) that looks can solve this 8TB SSD detection issue.

But some of SSDs became abnormal from normal detected by MUX. You can review below result that difference with W/o & with re-driver.

And the re-driver level that we set at Tx Level:2 & Rx Level:0. Could you help us to understand how to solve this kind of seesaw effect.

W/o Re-driver: TMUXHS4412 PCIE MUX
