Hi team,

Do we have data over power for CAN BUS or other field bus?

Please see below but not sure CAN also with products with the function?

    Zoe,

    We do have a component THVD8000 which uses OOK modulation to accomplish power-line communication for RS-485. However, there exists no such capability for CAN. CAN requires arbitration (i.e. carrier-sense multiple-access functionality), so OOK modulation does not allow this. Attempting to pass power over CAN lines at nominal CAN frequencies would require massive capacitors/inductors which are impractical for real-world use.

    Would the THVD8000 serve your needs?
