Inquiry about the AMI Tx_Rx voltage results_240129_plm.pptx
Hello Expert,
I'm Jayden, employed at Altair, working within the EDA simulation team.
In testing the AMI model, specifically the sn75dp159_xx.ami, using our simulation tool, we've noticed an interesting phenomenon. The Tx and Rx voltages are showing around 1V results in our simulation, while alternative tools display approximately 330mV for the Rx voltage. What might be the root cause of this discrepancy?
In this regard, we have a couple of inquiries, could you please review this issue? (the description that is ppt file was attached.)
Q1. Is there a specific reason why the Tx/Rx voltages are coming out to be around 1V in the simulation tool we are using? We would appreciate your insights after reviewing the log file on page 2 and the attached TI AMI model.
Q2: Could you provide Waveforms that we should have at the TX output?
Q3: Do you have a debug version of the model? Or a toolkit that we could use to check our implementation
Q4: Do you have documentation that could help us to safely test our implementation of the AMI flow
Q5: Do you have specific result references to share based on basic examples that you are able to share?
We would appreciate it if you could give us some advice. Thank you
