Hi TI community,
I would like to extend USB 2.0 signals at around 10 meters.
Is it possible to use TUSB216 ?
In advance, many thanks for your feedback,

Hello,
It would be possible to do this, yes. Please view the below picture for our recommendations:
Additionally, We recommend using one of our newer redrivers, such as the TUSB216I, the TUSB217A, or the TUSB211A.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hello,
The settings used in this example were not tracked, however, each system can have its own unique properties for drive strength, cable quality, or other factors like connectors, so the best way to approach determining what settings are best is to start at the lowest settings, BOOST 0 and RX_SEN Low, and working up from there until you see a satisfactory eye diagram.
The power supply for the redriver was likely pulled from VBUS of the incoming signal, which is 5V, however, voltage for power should not have an effect on the amount of boost provided by the redriver.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Ryan
