Hello TI,

I want to migrate from (DS90UB935) to DS90UB953-Q1 using same Deserializer DS90UB9702-Q1 so my question what configuration I should change to migrate.

Hello Mohamed,

If you keep using the same Mode and data rates, then there is no configurations changes needed.

But the interfaces in both serializer and addresses inside cameras are different ?

Which interfaces do you mean?

If the I2C address is different you still can use the same Alias. The SER address will be automatically detected and written in the DES reg 0x4B.

The CSI interface might has different configurations from Sensor to Ser , correct?

Basem,

No, there is no differences on the CSI Interface of the SER. They are the same and can be used with the same settings. The only difference is the CSI-2 data throughput. Where the 953 can support a signal of up to 4 lanes at 832MBps/lane (total of 3.28Gbps), but the 935 can support up to 3 lanes at 832Mbps/lane or up to 40lanes at 632Mbps/lane (total of 2.528Gbps)
