Can the DS90UB949-Q1 take HDMI mode outputs of the DDI interface on COM Express Board (for example SOM-6883 by Advantech). Or does it need a level shifter/retimer (ie SN65DP159)? Additionally, can we submit a schematic using the DS90UB949 for review?

    Hi Lilly,

    When you say DP++ are you referring to AC coupled HDMI?

    UB949 does support DP++ but you'd need to ensure that your Vterm matches the input source - So if you are AC coupled then you need to make sure to use the correct Vterm setting which should be run at 1.8V.
