DP83822H: RX_DV/RX_CTRL

Hi team,

Customer are currently designing to implement RMII communication.

When implementing RMII communication, how should we process RX_DV/RX_CTRL of port 26?

I think that 3.3V is input to the midpoint of the pulse transformer, could you please let me why it should do?

    Hello Hayashi-san,

    Thank you for your query. For RMII, RX_DV/CTRL is not required and thus can be left unconnected.

    You are correct that 3.3V should be connected to the center tap of the transformer.

    It may help if customer uses checklist while going through schematic design, as this gives complete breakdown of what is required.
