Good morning,

on an IEE1394 board used on our systems, we use a component that are considered obsolete and out of stock: TSB41BA3BPPFG4

I'm looking for an alternative to be able to purchase a quantity of 1200 units, to stock up and be able to bring my board to the end of its life.

I'm opening the DIGIKEY distributor, but I notice that many different codes are available, which I can't even find in the data sheet. These are

TSB41BA3 IPFP qty 145

TSB41BA3 BPFP qty 472

TSB41BA3 BTPFPEP qty 96+8

TSB41BA3 ATPFPEP qty 86

TSB41BA3 DIPFP qty 77

Since I can't find an explanation of what these code extensions are, could someone help me understand what is best to buy?

Any suggestion for direct purchasing?

    Ignore the G4 suffix.

    A/B/D indicate newer revisions. You should get the newest revision (TSB41BA3D), if possible.

    I/T indicates temperature ranges.

    PFP is the package name.

    EP indicates "enhanced products" for military or aerospace applications.

    You could get devices directly from TI; the LTB date is May 9th.
