TSER953: Current consumption Data

Hi Team,

I am using TSER953 part for CSI2 single lane mode.

Can you please tell me the current consumption for using only single lane.

    Thank you for your question. Due to the large amount of potential configurations, it is difficult to measure power and current consumption for all configurations of the device, which is why only certain conditions are included in the datasheet. The values listed in the datasheet are the maximum or worst case values of the device. Decreasing the CSI lanes to only a single lane will see a decrease in current consumption, but it will not vary a great amount from the 4 lane mode listed in the datasheet. Also please note that current consumption is impacted greatly by the system, so precise values can not be determined without measuring directly.

    I have one more doubt related to Power over coax. I need to know if there is a circuit change required to transfer around 500mA current over POC Network

    and If I increase the current by 500mA, what will the issue be related to signal integrity and any other issue?

     The Power over Coax in my case is 12V @ 500mA and I required 400mA current and 12V on VPOC?

    The current limit of a POC network is dependent mainly on the rating of the individual components. If a current greater than the current rating is used, some components may not behave as expected and could be damaged. It is recommended to only use a POC network within its operational current limit. This POC network is not designed to support a 500mA current. This app note includes some additional POC networks with higher current ratings that would be better suited for your application as well as additional considerations when choosing a POC network.
