Hi there,

I am wondering if there is an IC similar to this that is single channel but protocol agnostic, capable of handling Ethernet, HDMI, USB 2.0/3.0, LVDS etc ?

Although I suspect I know the answer to this question, is it at all possible the TUSB501 can be used for any of the above mentioned protocols, even though it is specifically designed for USB3.0, if not can anyone suggest a part number that could this, in a single channel form factor?

With the architecture difference among all these interfaces, for example USB2.0 being a DC-coupled Half–Duplex interface while USB3.0 being a AC-coupled Dual–Simplex interface, it is not possible to have one signal conditioner or re-driver that can cover all of them.

But we do have separate signal conditioner for each interface if you are interested.

For HDMI2.0, you can use

What is the data rate requirement for Ethernet and LVDS?

Brilliant thank you very much, the data rate for Ethernet will be up to 10Gb/s and full speed (1000 Base-T), LVDS is not specified just yet.

Unfortunately we do not have an Ethernet Signal Conditioner that can meet this particular requirement.
