DP83869HMRGZT: MDI interface between PHY and 88E6321 Marvell switch.

Hi,

If the Ethernet switch (88E6321) is connected to the TI PHY (DP83869HMRGZT) via MDI lines and both devices are on a single PCB in an enclosed local system. Do they also need magnetics between them?

Hi Bharath,

The DC isolation is still required between the PHY. However, you can use capacitive coupling in the case both PHY are on the same boards.
