Our USB device requires additional power from a second USB port for some applications.
The second USB is planned only for additional power and this power can be obtained, for example, from the second USB port of the computer. No data transfer is planned.
To determine the USB type and, accordingly, how much current can be received 0.5A or 1.5A, BQ24392RSER is used.
Problem:
When connecting this second USB port to a USB port of PC (Dell) with a charging function, the port is defined only as 0.5A (SDP?) - BQ24392 DP/DM pins are floating, if install a 15kOhm pull up on the BQ24392 DP pin, then the USB port is defined as charging (1.5A)(CDP?), but USB Device not recognized appears on the Windows computer.
Please tell me how to get 1.5A from a USB port and not receive the USB Device not recodnized warning?
Thank you.
