Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83869, DP83640
To whom it may concern -
I'm using DP83869HM on my program and they would like to support IEEE1588-2019. I believe IEEE1588-2019 defers to v2.1. Looking at another forum here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1108245/dp83869hm-sfp-module-support-with-am5728, it seems that DP83869 does not support IEEE1588V2.
Since this is true, I would like to confirm that it probably won't be able to support IEEE1588V2.1 either and the only way to support IEEE1588-2019 is to upgrade to the DP83640.
Is that correct?
