UG has a diagram to select TIger-A_HID15.hex.



I believe this file is "TPIC8101_Firmware.hex". Is this correct?
When I had a customer try it, the writing was not progressing, so they insisted on they needed two hex files.

I think the JP settings are probably not configured and it is not transitioning to boot mode correctly, but at the customer's request, we asked if the hex file is correct.

The files are correct as far as I know. We have had no complaints about this in the past.
This firmware update has worked for others, so I'm not sure what is going on.

Could their system permissions be blocking the update?

Thank you for your support, and sorry for late reply.

I have confirmed that the customer's EVM is working properly.

The knock signal was input to the customer's EVM and the INT and integral waveforms were obtained.

So we have some additional questions from our customers.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please let us know.

1. Looking at the data sheet, it is necessary to shift to advanced mode in order to read the digital integrator output.

Are there any restrictions on the setting order after the power is turned on?
For example, should I write numbers 1 to 6 in the diagram below in order?

2. What kind of waveform is the TCLK input from the TIGER board?
(0-5V square wave?)

The customer monitored the EVM test points. However, it seems that the waveform is not observed (this is just a customer's evaluation).
I don't have any information about the TIGER board, so please let me know.

3. Is this an OK circuit when connecting an external oscillator to XIN?

1. Order should not matter when writing in the advanced SPI mode. 

2,3.  There isn't much information available on the TIGER EVM.
        I am guessing it provides a 5V signal, but will try to confirm this tomorrow with my EVM and update this thread.
