TCAN1044AV-Q1: Do you have any CAN transceiver which can replace MCP2562-E/SN?

Part Number: TCAN1044AV-Q1

Hello guys,

One of my customers is looking for TI CAN transceiver which can replace MCP2562-E/SN.

This device has standby mode and Vio pin. Also package is SOIC(TI package code is "D").

I think that TCAN1044AVDRQ1 could be used.
But MCP2562-E/SN has High performance ESD performance which meets IEC61000-4-2 up to +/-14kV.

I have the following questions. Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
Does TI have any CAN transceiver which can replace MCP2562-E/SN except TCAN1044AVDRQ1?

Q2. 
Does TI have any CAN transceiver which has high performance ESD performance which meets IEC61000-4-2 up to +/-14kV?

    TCAN1044AV is the choice. It's a pin-to-pin replacement with standby mode. Another 8-pin device will be TCAN1057A however it has an S pin for silent mode control which is different from MCP2562-E/SN.

    As part of our certification testing, we don't perform IEC61000-4-2 air gap discharge testing, but we do air gap discharge based on the J2962-2 specification. This ESD testing is a derivative of the IEC61000-4-2 ESD test, but it uses a system approach rather than a singular device, and the RC network in the ESD striking tool is 2k ohms and 330pF, rather than 330 ohms and 150pF in the IEC61000-4-2 testing. In the J2962-2 testing, our device survives to 15kV.
