The changes in the camera aspect of the new project compared to the old project are as follows:

1. The resolution has changed from 1920 * 720 to 1920 * 1440

2. The serializer has changed from DS90UB953-Q1 to DS90UB935-Q1

for two different points. Could you please advise on the specific adaptations and modifications needed for registers and related configurations in the new project?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question. Can you provide some more details on this system? What data type is being used and what is the fps for this application? Will only a single serializer be paired with the 962 or multiple? If there are multiple, will all the serializers be a 935 supporting the same resolution? What mode will the devices be operating in?

    Hi Darrah

    The pixel format is YUV422, fps is 25, and there are multiple serializers paired with 962. Here are four fpds listed - link camera and resolution

    1. DMS 1280 * 720

    2.360 1920 * 1440

    3. ROA 1280 * 720

    4. DVR 1920 * 1080

    The device outputs in continuous pixel clock mode

    Hello,

    The resolution of 1920*1440 with 25 fps and YUV422 (either 10 or 8 bit) is within the 935 bandwidth as long as at least 4 CSI lanes are used. The 953 and 935 are p2p so there are no other hardware changes necessary. As long as the resolution is the only other change in the system, there should not be any register modifications needed for the 935. The 953 and 935 are very similar in operation, with the main difference being the lower bandwidth supported by the 935. Since multiple serializers are being used, the bandwidth of the 962 should also be checked to ensure that the deserializer is able to successfully aggregate all four streams of data. If you can provide the blanking parameters, data type, and fps of all the imagers, this can be calculated.
