TUSB1004: Does TUSB1004 support PCI-E?

Hi,

   I see TUSB1004 has PCi-E "enable" option in USB_Mode register. so does this part support PCI-E which Generation? should I change anything in case of PCI-E Gen.3 application?

    Hi Alan,

    The TUSB1004 can support up to 10Gbps signals (PCIe Gen 3). It will operate similarly to the standard USB mode so you want to set your EQ values according to the trace loss before/after the re-driver. Alternatively, the 1004 comes with adaptive EQ, which will find the best EQ value for your signal path when enabled.
