Hi,

The Superspeed page at:

TI Home > Interface > USB > SuperSpeed USB 3.0

states that the controllers support debug as well as legacy capabilities. However, I could not find any reference to the debug capability in the datasheets.

There is reference to legacy support though. Am I looking at the wrong place? Or will details be made available in an update?

Sorry for the confusion. It was originally planned to support DEBUG, but when Micrsoft pushed out the requirement, we choose to not include that n the TUSB7320/TUSB7340. Thanks for cacthing the error on the landing page.

We have second generation devices in development now that will be xHCI 1.0 complaint and will include DEBUG mode. They will by the end of the year.

Thanks for the clarification. End of the year wait is not too bad for us. Will the second generation be pin compatible with the TUSB73x0 ? Not very critical but would be nice.

Yes, they will be drop in replacements in the same package.
