Hi,TI partner：

   TCAN1043 can support short diagnose,when CANH/CANL short to GND or VCC or Vsup,the nFAULT become Low,indicating the occurrence of a short circuit. Just like the picture below.

   TCAN1145-Q1 don't have nFAULT pin，I don't find discription about short diagnose on datasheet. My question is that :Does  TCAN1145-Q1 support short diagnose? If yes,how does it support?

    Hi Yao,

    Only the TCAN1144 and TCAN1146 variants of this device support the advanced bus fault detection feature. Because these devices have a SPI interface, they are able to report more details about the CAN bus fault using the INT_CANBUS register. The SDO pin can also be configured as an nINT pin when not in use so that such interrupts may be reported to the MCU in real time rather than a polling method.
