Hello, I am a researcher at a Korean defense industry company.

I have a question of BT656 signal and TFP410.
I wonder that TFP410 is accept to BT656 signal. When I saw the TFP410 Datasheet, it was not exist about "BT656".
But, TFP410 input format and BT656 signal format are similar format.

So I'm wonder whether the input part of tfp410 can receive the bt656 signal. I would appreciate it if you could answer this question.

Unfortunately, the TFP410 cannot support BT656 signaling. Please have a look at our FPD-Link products, they may have a better match for your application.

Hi Lee,

The FPD-Link product line does not have any products specifically designed for BT.656 applications.

Could you possibly provide more clarity on what you are looking to achieve in this system by providing a block diagram? Are you looking to convert the datatype or simply use this as a passthrough device?

i want to receive BT656 DATA from camera and send to DIV Interface. But, it was impossible. So, I looking for a converter about BT656 to DVI.

As a result, I want to receive the bt656 signal from the camera and output it to dvi to show a real-time image

Hi Lee,

The FPD-Link portfolio does not include any devices that allow a direct conversion from camera to display. You would need a SerDes pair on both ends - one for the camera and one for the display - as well as an SoC in between. See below, with TI components in red:

Some comments of note:

-There is no ADAS device in the portfolio that outputs BT656. To output in a similar way to BT656, TI suggests deserializers in the portfolio that support DVP.

-There is no IVI DES device in the portfolio that outputs DVI datatype. As a solution, TI typically uses the following off-the-shelf Westar board (seen in grey) in lab to convert from OLDI to HDMI/DVI (link).
