Symptom:
Through the debugging tool (EyeScanTool) to connect the IIC of the target board chip DP159, it is found that DP159 has a high probability of PLL not lock problem when the system is powered on for the first time (as shown in Figure 1).At this time, the display is visually normal, plug and remove the HDMI cable, read the status again after the normal display, and find that the unlock state can be restored to the locked state (as shown in Figure 2).
Question:
1. When DP159 PLL is not lock, it is noticed from the feedback information of the tool that the EQ parameter of the chip will also change at this time (compared with the locked state, the parameter is very different). Is this problem likely to lead to problems such as flash screen and black screen?
2. When DP159 is not lock, can the SOC on the Source side obtain the event of DP159 out of lock, for example, can the state be read from a register?
3. Does SOC need to re-initialize or reset DP159 in the out-of-lock state?
