    Adam,

    There's an 8-pin CAN EVM that can be used for this device, but there's no specific EVM for this part number. The 8-pin EVM can be ordered from the TCAN1042-Q1 product page on TI.com, and then the SN65HVD230 part can be soldered down. 

    Also, is there a reason the customer is using an older 3.3V CAN transceiver? We have newer devices like the TCAN3403-Q1 that could match what the customer needs in a newer design.
