DS160PR1601: Apply Sigcon Architect software and SI model

Hi experts,

I am going to design a board with DS160PR1601, I went through many documents, found that there was Sigcon Architect available, can you help me to download Sigcon Architect and  DS160PR1601 profile?

Meanwhile, is there SI model available for this part, like IBIS?

    Hi Chris,

    The DS160PR1601 is related and very similar to the Gen 5 DS320PR1601, you can use the SigCon Architect profile for the DS320PR1601 in order to configure the DS160PR1601 device. I have given you access to the "PCIE5-REDRIVERS-DESIGN" folder on My Secure Resources, in the DS320PR1601 section the relevant ZIP file is "TI_SigConGUI_DS320PR1601-Updated.zip". This contains both a full installer for the latest version of SigCon Architect as well as the latest DS320PR1601 device profile updater.

    I don't believe we have simulation models specifically available for the DS160PR1601 or the DS320PR1601, but the DS320PR810/822 IBIS-AMI model (smaller 8-channel device) should be a close substitute because there is similarity between their designs and performance. You can find this model in the same PCIE5-REDRIVERS-DESIGN folder, in the DS320PR8xx section as the ZIP file "DS320PR810_822_Model_Release_May2022.zip".
