    Hi Luke,

    In the case of using as a commander node, we recommend to pull-up LIN via VSUP, and use a 220pF to GND (1 nF is higher than the recommended value).

    This application is also recommended in ISO 17987–4. We've seen customers using INH as pull-up in the past and it actually works. But please push the customer to pull up with Vsup if they can change their design. The reason is our INH pin is designed as a high-voltage logic output not a current source. Customer need to note that there is a 4mA maximum current output on the pin (as specified in datasheet).

    This is additional question from customer. In case of slave node, is it possible for INH pin to have pull down?

    Hi Luke,

    Yes they can add external pull down to INH. If they don't want to use INH on slave node, INH can be simply left floating.
