Hi,
Since DPI can be treated as RGB, SN65LVDS93B could be used for RGB to LVDS. Would this suit your application? This is an industrial temperate grade part though.
Few questions:
- Could you tell me what the DDR, 12-bit mode is? What interface is this?
- what SoC or input interface is used here?
- what is the PCLK rate?
- does the part need to be automotive Q1 grade?
Best regards,
Ikram
Dear TI ,
The answer to the question is as follows :
1、Could you tell me what the DDR, 12-bit mode is? What interface is this?
answer:.In the SOC chip use rising edge and falling edge to transfer data
2、what SoC or input interface is used here?
answer:DPI interface . More used in MTK's SOC .
3、what is the PCLK rate?
answer:124.4MHz ( 1920*1080@60FPS )
4、does the part need to be automotive Q1 grade?
answer:YES .
Hi, is the top waveform the PCLK? Could you tell us what the device video input source (SoC or similar) is, then we can look at the video interface and verify whether they are compatible.
Best regards,
Ikram
Hi,Ikram.
------>is the top waveform the PCLK?
answer: No, This is just a schematic diagram . For the DS90C189-Q1 , the device video input is from SOC (MT8675 , MTK) .
MT8675's DPI interface has only 12 data lane , but need to transfer 24-bit data . Data format is GRB888 .
Can the above information help evaluate whether DS90C189-Q1 meets my application scenario?
Please give me 2-3 days to look into this, whether the DS90CC198 can support this mode.
Best regards,
Ikram
Hi, this device does not support this DDR 12-bit mode. With FPD-link there are other video interfaces that can be supported. Are there any alternative interfaces or modes that can be used with this SoC?
Best regards,
Ikram
