DP83867IR: Risk of Back-feeding/Power sequencing issues if PHY Port is connected

Hello, we are using this RGMII to PHY Transceiver in our design. Is it acceptable if the PHY network switch the DP83867 is connected is powered on before we power the DP83867? Our concern is a risk of improper power sequencing or back-feeding through those pins. See diagram below for additional details.

Hello,

So I understand this correctly, you are connecting the DP83869 with a link partner (switch) and are concerned of any damage/mal-operation if the link partner is powered on and connected prior to the DUT? If this is the case, there shouldn't be any concern.
