Hi team,

We are purchasing the DEMO for DS320PR1601-RSC-EVM. In order to prepare in advance, please help open the permissions for the SNLA342 (EEPROM) manual. Thank you!

  • Hi William,

The SNLA342 document is available on the "PCIE4-REDRIVERS-DESIGN" folder in My Secure Resources, I have given you access to this folder, it's listed in the "DS160PR810, DS160PR822" section as "TI_DS160PR810_Understanding_EEPROM_Programming_Apps_Report.pdf".

It provides an overview about how the EEPROM .hex files are organized, however I want to note that creating EEPROM files manually is difficult and the registers for the DS320PR1601/DS160PR1601 are different from the older DS160PR810 that the document discusses. The best way to create EEPROM files for our Gen 4 and Gen 5 devices is to use the EEPROM programmers in the device profiles of our SigCon Architect GUI software, which is also very helpful for operating the EVM. If you don't have a SigCon installation with the DS320PR1601 device profile yet, let me know and I can give you access (it is stored in a PCIE5-REDRIVERS-DESIGN folder on My Secure Resources).

    Best,

    Evan Su
