What's the recommended position for USB redriver? Close to host? Close to device? Or in the middle of USB lines?

Hi Nison,

For our USB2 Redrivers, we recommend placing the redriver closer to the connector of the board it is on. Positioning it on the host board is recommended, but you can also place it on the device board if needed.

How about USB3.0 redriver?

Hi Nison,

Sorry about that. What I mean is that the typical application we recommend is placing the redriver closer to the USB connector as possible on the host or device board.

This is the same case for the USB3.0 redriver.
