DS90UB927QEVM: DS90UB927QEVM win10 NSC USB NANO

Part Number: DS90UB927QEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ALP, USB2ANY

"Please tell me, I bought the DS90UB927QEVM.

I downloaded and installed the 'DS90Ux927QEVM ALP Software' from this page. Analog LaunchPAD v1.29.0010

www.ti.com/.../DS90UB927QEVM

During the installation, the USB driver installation did not appear. When I connect the evaluation kit to the PC and launch the ALP software, it enters demo mode and does not connect.

When I run 'ALPUSBDriver.exe' from the Drivers folder in the ProgramFiles, it displays 'Opal Kelly FrontPanel Driver has been installed on your computer.'

I have not been able to resolve this issue even after looking at other people's inquiries. What should I do? I want to resolve the USB driver issue without using USB2ANY."

Best Regards,

  • Hi,

Can you reinstall ALP. The verision of ALP you are using is v1.29.0010. The current version of ALP is Analog LaunchPAD v1.57.0010.

Install the framework and ALP profile update: https://www.ti.com/tool/ALP

  • Thank you for your response.
I have installed the latest version from the URL you provided.

However, the issue with the USB driver has not been resolved.
Is there a location where I can find the latest version of the executable file to install the USB driver?

From the Device Manager, under NSC USB NANO → ... → Have Disk..., I cannot find the "cyusb3" file.
I apologize for bothering you while you are busy, but could you please advise?

    Best Regards,

  • Hi,

Did you install the Cypress CyUSB driver?

This would be a great resource for you:

    1. Open Analog LaunchPad
    2. Go to help
    3. Click on ALP Help
    4. It will open a new window and click on "Driver Installation"
    5. Follow the instructions in "Installing NSC USB NANO driver"

  • Thank you for your response.

I was able to connect successfully.

I will describe the points that did not work well following the ALP HELP procedure.
    1. Even when I searched the URL of the link on the web, I ended up on a page with nothing related to infinion or an error page. I registered on the infinion site, searched for "cypress cyusb driver," and downloaded "cyusb3 usb suite source software."
    2. Since the .inf file was not included in the file from 1, I downloaded the "Driver.zip" file from the "EZ-USB FX1, FX2LP, FX3 driver" community on infinion.
After that, I was able to install it following the HELP instructions.
    * 1 might be unnecessary.

I appreciate your help. Thank you.

    Regards,
