SN65C1168E: Should this dual driver/receiver IC be ESD packaged (?) -- customer states part needs to be ESD packaged; p/n SN65C1168EMPWTSEP [also p/n SN65C1168EMPWSEP]

To TI Support Team:

We are one of your authorized distributors (Mouser) and we have a customer who ordered and received the dual Driver/Receiver p/n SN65C1168EMPWTSEP

(also p/n SN65C1168EMPWSEP) and it was not ESD packaged; I am not sure why, but our semi warehouse does not have this part's packaging set for "ESD";

it could a failed entry on our part or we were notified that it did not need such (?). As we are unsure, we need your verification on this -- does this part need to

be ESD packaged?

Can you help us with this?
