Dears,

      A customer made a product using DP83848IVVX. During the test, he found that he could connect to a 100M router and a computer, and could communicate normally, but could not connect to a Gigabit router or Gigabit switch. Under normal circumstances, the router would be backwards compatible with 100M devices. But communication is not possible at this time. Does the software need to be configured with DP83848IVVX to adapt to connect to Gigabit network devices? Is there any relevant reference code? grateful

    Hi Alon,

    I expect the DP83848 to work with Gigabit router/switch, given that both the 848 and router have auto-negotiation with 100M advertisements enabled.

    Please share the DP83848 strap settings and register log (addresses 0x0 - 0x1F) to allow me to review and confirm if the device is configured correctly.
