Our customer is considering the TPD1E0B04 to protect the RF circuit in a 2.4 GHz system. The TPD1E0B04 would be connected close to the antenna.

In another discussion on the e2e forum, there's a comment that this part is used on one of our EVMs for our Low Power Wireless products. Which EVMs is it used on? I couldn't find it.

Also do we have more information about the range or profile of capacitance of this ESD device? The typical capacitance is 0.15pF, but do we have a minimum? Any additional information about this beyond what's in the datasheet would be helpful, since such small changes in capacitance will have an impact on RF tuning.

I also could not find this EVM, could you please provide a link to the forum you mentioned above?

I don't believe that we have any information on capacitance outside of the information in the datasheet, but I can say that the insertion loss of this device at 2.4 GHz is less than -0.25dB. Please see the graph below:

As user TER mentioned in the thread linked above, "Based on figure 10 and 11 in the datasheet for this diode the response is fairly equal both for sub 1-GHz and 2.4 GHz. We have not seen any issues with attenuation using this diode." Figure 11 is the Insertion Loss graph I attached above, which further indicates that this device would be suitable for this RF application.
