TUSB320: CC controller that can be used with TMUXHS4212

Hi All,

I'm looking for a USB CC controller.

At first, I considered TUSB320 as a CC controller that could be used for the TMUXHS4212 multiplexer.
However, TUSB320 did not have a signal to control the SEL of TMUXHS4212.
I found TUSB321. I think TUSB321 has a DIR terminal and can control the SEL of TMUXHS4212.
When using TMUXHS4212, is TUSB321 better? Please let me know if you have any other recommended devices.

    Hi Shuji,

    You are correct. If you want to control a MUX in GPIO mode, you need to use a device like the TUSB321 or TUSB322.

    The main difference between these devices is that the 321 does not have I2C mode, and the 322 does. I recommend using the TUSB321 if you do not plan to use I2C to control the device.
