DP83867IR: 1GBPS Not Working

Sorry to reply you late, I got distracted on other priority.

Based on your instruction I tried following values on unit working at 1GBPS and unit not working at 1GBPS.

1. Values tried on RGMII Delay Control Register (RGMIIDCTL), Address 0x0086 on unit working at 1GBPS.

2. Values tried on RGMII Delay Control Register (RGMIIDCTL), Address 0x0086 on unit Not working at 1GBPS but Working at 100Mbps

2.A Values tried at 100MBPS

2.B Values tried at 1GBPS

Do you have more suggestion to try ?

Do you feel this could be possible Layout issue for High speed lines ? I found that previous engineer has not got done SI analysis for Ethernet

Hi Suhant,

If both units have identical configurations, it does seem this is a layout / SI issue relative to RGMII signals.

RGMII timing requirements are strict, so any marginality in layout may cause issues between units.
