DP83825I: Value in the LEDCFG_Register

I have a question about the "LEDCFG_Register". According to the documentation (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dp83825i.pdf?ts=1712561683137), the value in that register is 0x0010 [LED_2_Control = 1 (Rx/Tx activity)]. However, the value 0x0555 is actually in this register [0x5 = Speed, High for 100BASE-TX]. This value is definitely OK. The question is if there is a typo in the documentation or if there was a change in some revision of the chip and it was not reflected in the documentation. Thank you!

Sorry I am not sure I complete understand your concern.

May I ask which register are you referring to?

Register 0x0010 indicate the PHY Status and 0x0005 indicate the link partner advertisement. I don't think those register are used for tuning the LED2. Are you referring to register 0x460?

Hi Hilman,

if i understand correctly then 0x460 is the address of the register and 0x00010 is the value in this register. Which corresponds to the documentation I was referring to. However, I found that there is a value of 0x0555 in this register (this value is OK for our product, it is no complication for us).

That's why I asked if this difference is due to a typo in the documentation, or if the chip was modified in the past.
