Hi team,

Customer wants to know if the our CAN/LIN device has short to battery/GND diagnostic.

I searched in datasheet but found nothing.

Hi Peter,

TCAN1044A has short circuit protection (current limiting feature), but cannot detect/diagnose the faults. Please recommend TCAN1043A if fault detection is required.

No those devices cannot detect short to BAT/GND either.
