TUSB9261: spec check

Part Number: TUSB9261

We are looking for an industrial-standard IC. Although the TUSB9261 meets the requirements, it "does not support TYPE-C". Can you please give me some advice? Are there any industrial products with the same specifications, but can support TYPE-C? If so, please provide the corresponding model and specifications, thank you.

I'm not a TI engineer, but I'm pretty sure you can hook this thing up to a Type-C connector with no issues. There are passive USB-A to USB-C adapters that work with every device I've ever tried it on. This is just a matter of wiring it up correctly.

Again, I'm not a TI engineer nor affiliated with TI, but I'm quite sure this is not an issue.

Sorry for the delay, there was a system error that delayed this issue.

hp van Braam is correct, but I have some things to add. Although the Type-C connector should work with any USB device, you may need to add a CC controller to your design in order to handle the orientation flip from the type-C connector to make sure the lanes are routed correctly.
