Hello,

There is a question related how to use DS90UB935-Q1 ensure data integrity for functional safety. Due to DS90UB935 is QM only, the safety mechanism in system level like CRC from imager senor to Host ECU can make sure the data integrity,

The question is 

1. Does the serializer remove the CRC and build a new CRC during CSI convert to FPD-link?

2. How the CSI-2 video data and I2C data covert to FPD-Link data by serialzier?

3. How the FPD-link data convert to I2C data by serializer?

4. Any safety supporting document?

    Please refer to the following thread for an answer regarding CRC:

    DS90UB953-Q1: ASIL Level for DS90UB953-Q1 and DS90UB954-Q1

    CSI-2 data and I2C data is transmitted through the FPD-Link 40 bit forward channel frame for ADAS devices. This frame will be comprised of video payload data, I2C forward channel data, CRC information, framing information, and information regarding the state of the CSI-2 interface.
