Unfortunately, we do not have any IBIS models for the TUSB211-Q1. We do have HSpice models for the TUSB212/213 which can be used for similar performance. If you want, I can send that over, you just need to send me a friend request over E2E.

I have sent over the HSpice models. For generating an IBIS model, I am not sure if this is something we can do on our team, but is something I can look into. Is there a timeline for when this is needed?

Additionally, we also have a Spectre model for the TUSB216. The TUSB216 has considerable improvements to performance in comparison to the TUSB211-Q1, but there is a TUSB216-Q1 which could be considered for an automotive need.

Please let me know what you think on the spectre model and the IBIS model timeline, and if there are any other questions.

Timeline is too tight for this. please check if IBIS can be generated asap. However, we are checking on TUSB211-Q1 and TUSB216-Q1 spectre model feasibility. I will update you asap.

Hi Akhilesh,

After discussing internally with our team and looking through our, we have decided that we cannot provide an IBIS model for this device, due to a lack of a current model, and the resources needed to generate one.

We do not currently have the necessary data needed to create an IBIS model, so we would need to devote significant resources to performing the tests and gathering the setup needed for collecting this data. Additionally, an IBIS model of this device could potentially help competitors discover proprietary information surrounding the functionality of our device.

The HSpice and TUSB216 Spectre models should be able to provide a similar depiction of how our device operates or the general performance of the device. If you would like, I can send that Spectre model over via PM, and you should already have that HSpice model.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience regarding the lack of an IBIS model. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
