    Hi Lawrence,

    The DS320PR810 is protocol-agnostic so it can be used for most AC-coupled interfaces, SAS included. From the DS320PR810 datasheet:

    The device can be implemented similarly to a PCIe application, only difference is that the RX detection functionality can be turned off for non-PCIe protocols.
