USB-TO-GPIO2: Letter of Volatility

Hello,

I am looking for a letter of volatility for this device. I was able to find the memory information for the 2006 version device but am coming short for the 2022 version. I assume that all of the memory is wiped once the device is unplugged but would like to know the specifications of the memory or any LOV information available.

Hi Ryan,

What 2006 document were you able to find? That may help point us in the right direction for providing you something similar.

It's worth mentioning that the pmbus transactions are stored in RAM and are wiped from the device when it loses power. However, the pull up resistor settings, PEC, and frequency settings are stored to flash memory and should be retained across power cycles. Let me know how else I can help.

Hello Britton,

The document I found was at this link which is the user guide that mentions the specification of the memory within the device. I was also able to find a statement of volatility for the 1.0 version of this device here. If I could get an updated statement of volatility for the USB-TO-GPIO2 that would resolve my issue.
