DS90UB928Q-Q1: The problem of LVDS waveform period extension

The TI 949 board obtained from the customer was inputted with LVDS signal, and the LVDS output of DS90UB928 was measured.

The waveform period changed from 12.928ns to 11.596us.

We used DS90UB927+928 to input the same LVDS signal, and the waveform period remained at 12.928ns without expansion.

Is there a register that can be set to adjust the LDVS signal period ?

Hi Adams,

The 949 does not accept an LVDS input. It can only accept an HDMI input. The reason why the system worked as intended with the 927 is because the 927 can accept an LVDS input.

If you are looking for a 94x serializer that accepts an LVDS input, I would suggest the 947.

Sorry, I didn't notice that 949 only has HDMI input.

But my question is, if I use 947 + 948, can the output waveform period be adjusted on 948 or 947?

Hi Adams,

The output waveform period on the 948 should match the waveform period being inputted into the 947 by default. Is there a specific reason you are looking to adjust the waveform period?

Because I am assisting our factory in analyzing issues Perhaps it compares the 949 HDMI input with the LVDS output,

so they are believed that the waveform period has been extended.
