PCA9306: PCA9306 vs TXS0102

Part Number: PCA9306
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0102, LSF0102, TCA39416, TCA9406, TCA9416

Hi team,

I noticed that the PCA9306 is P2P with TXS0102, and I want to know is there any difference between them, SPEC ,  function or application?  how should we promote the two device?

  • Hey Jingguo,

    The TXS0102 is an upgrade to the PCA9306 with the addition of the internal 10kohm pullups and one shot circuitry. It also does not require specific biasing like the PCA9306 where VREF2 needs to be shorted to EN and pulled up to VCC with an external 200kohm resistor.

    Both devices share similar passFET architecture between the I/Os for level translation and can be used for I2C and similar applications shown in Section 2 of the datasheet.

    Regards,

    Jack

  • LSF0102 = PCA9306
    TXS0102 = TCA9406 (and low-voltage variants TCA9416, TCA39416)
