Hi,

I would like to inquire whether I should use separate TX/RX (4ch x 2pcs) or if I can use a single TX/RX together (8ch) when using Gen5 by 4?

    Hi Jeff,

    You can use a single part for Tx and RX. However, pcb layout could be a bit complicated at this data rate. You can consider DS320PR410 as two 4 channels and this could make pcb layout much more easier with signal integrity in mind.
